The Extreme Searcher’s Internet Handbook

The Extreme Searcher’s Internet Handbook
One of the best Internet search informational books is the Investigators Little Black Book Three by Robert Scott. This is THE book used by thousands of private investigators, law enforcement agencies, media, organizations, etc. As an indispensable reference book it has thousands of phone numbers, organizations, people, businesses, websites, where to find vital information. It provides people locator sources for finding suspects, fugitives, deadbeats, witnesses, and so much more.
Another great resource is the book How to Find Out Anything by Don MacLeod. The book’s subtitle says it best: From Extreme Google Searches to Scouring Government Documents or a Guide to uncovering Anything About Everyone and Everything.
An excellent legal resource along the same lines is the ‘lectric Law Library. The site is helpful, informative, slightly irreverent, and often entertaining. You can find most anything you may look for. If you cannot find the information you seek, they will point you in the right direction! Everyone should spend some free time in the SS

In The old Farmer’s almanac you will find a lot of useful and topical information. Nature oriented chapters dominate, covering such things as the weather for next year and how true last year’s weather forecast was. Calendar events, folklore, gardening tips, and astronomy, such as when the meteor shower is really gonna happen. Where to go fishing, husbandry wisdom, when to adjust your garden’s pH, when to plant your garden according to the moon’s phases, and the time each tide is expected. There are contests to enter, recipes to try, and anecdotes to enjoy. Finally, you can purchase items from the Old Farmer’s General store. Yes, The Old Farmer’s Almanac is an indispensable resource.

A really good book for an extreme researcher is The Know- It –All One Man’s Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in The world. AJ Jacobs reads the whole series of Encyclopedia Britannica and he learns that sometimes it is dry yet most of the time it is insightful and highly enlightening. When he begins he meets with some skepticism, but he actually makes it to the last one. Along the way he finds out it’s not near as interesting as he expected it, but by the time he finishes reading it will know a lot more about a bunch of different things and it does make you smarter.
